To be fair kneerash, back a couple of sesons ao, about a season after Ashe Cole moved to Chelsea, Rio Ferdinand was heavily linked with Chelsea. Then by 'chance', bumped into Kenyon who was at Chelsea, in a restaurant in London.

Sir Alex was reported furious and Rio himself said when he got called into his office, Sir Alex was angry as feck and Rio thought at any minute he was going to say "I'm selling you.."

Easier to get rid of you these days in my opinion. Players are just an asset.

If you haven't sacked him yet after your form since the turn of the year I think your going to stubbornly stick with him at least until the end of the season.

By the time the PFA had finished Rio would of had a new 5 year contract worth tens of millions rather than simply not offering him a new contract and letting him go....
