As I said on another article, how ironic that the biggest cheater on the pitch got beat at his own game to the extent that it effectively got his club knocked out the cup.

I don't condone diving but it was a head butt, it was a red card & Vertonghen acted no differently to he did all game.

Got very lucky tonight... could have been so embarrassing.

I actually half expected us to go out tonight cos I expected a pretty limp display and my spurs didn't fail to deliver.

Let's just hope filling our boots against 10 men at home will get the lads buzzing...

There's has been occasions when 10 men have drawn or even beaten 11. I can't remember which exact matches this season but it has happened. Yes this time it did change the match having a player sent off but it doesn't always. Let's see how it goes against a full strength Benfica but more importantly let's hope the winning momentum is back. I don't think that Spurs were lucky as I posted a good 3-0 win will set Spurs straight. I also said that it would change everybody's mind from the gloom of Norwich and change everything.................and it has.

I suppose the best way to get around a parked bus is to hope it makes a mistake which it did last night. They came to park the bus, had a man sent off then lost their composure and had to think of a new strategy but couldn't. They lost their shape and bingo. Beats me why Erikson doesn't play more often.
