Seeing as the board is dead at the moment, I thought I'd ask a question about England. With all the controversy surrounding cleverley's call up, should players like Mark Noble who is consistently one if west ham's better players, or Tom Huddlestone, who is technically one of England's most talented, get called up? What other players should have got into the team? Barry?
Also, is this the worst squad we have seen for years? Obviously it's a squad of good players, but are we lacking world class players? Will players like Lallana and Milner get laughed at?
Here's how I think Roy might set up:
Hart
Walker Jagielka Cahill Baines
Milner Gerrard Wilshere Ox
Rooney
Sturridge
Now players like Townsend, Lallana and Carrick will also have a chance of getting into that 11. But that begs the question, is that a squad of mediocrity?
There's no doubt that walker has a brilliant season, baines and Jagielka have seen Everton keep one of the best defensive records, and Cahill is a champions league winner in which he kept out a very strong bayern team in the final. But, are we lacking a true leader at the back and genuine world class talent?
The midfield has talented players in the middle, I think Roy likes the solidity of Milner and Ox can offer creativity. But again, too average? Plus Milner and Ox haven't even played that much this season. Are Townsend and Lallana too inexperienced and 'average' compared to the likes of Spain and Brazil?
Rooney and Sturridge is dangerous, but after that who do we really have?

He's been the most consistent player in the 5th best team in the league
Honestly, he's outrageously underrated. It's quite ridiculous

It's not ridiculous. It's common sense, the guy isn't very good.
There's a reason it's only Spurs fans that rate him, and it's not because they watch him more.

What's the reason then?

Bias, obviously.

I'm not a bias fan, trust me. He's a good right back

I don't need to trust you. I watch him and can see he's not.

Walker is decent but he has a lot to learn, far from finished article
for example if i was Roy, i'd probably pick Johnson ahead of Walker because of that bit of experience he has over him
