I'm not a Newcastle United fan but have a great deal of respect for this club and what it has brought to British football over the decades. This is a club of great tradition, great past heroes and great pride. I find it puzzling that there has not been an article written by one of their many fans about the disgraceful sideline conduct of Alan Pardew this past week-end at the Hull match.
Unless this guy is taking some type of prescribed medication, he should be fired by Newcastle United FC and banned by the Football League for the rest of the season. A subsequent five-year "sideline" ban should also be imposed.
I appreciate the steep fine imposed by the club, but this is more than a club issue. If the FA does not deal with this promptly and severely, then this sort of behavior has the potential to spread across all league levels.

I thought that I made it clear that the actions taken so far were appropriate. My issue was with the fact that this great club has thousands of fans and no one seems to have had the interest, or the gonads, to express their disappointment with their manager's behavior. Or, perhaps they though that it was appropriate?

He didn't kill the player for crying out loud, it was only a headbutt and he should be punished according to the rules as everybody else is.
However if I were a Newcastle fan, I'd want him out for different reasons, he's crap.
