It was 26th May 1989 that I recall Arsenal winning a trophy, the first in my living memory. ( I do not recall the 1987 League Cup win).
I had turned 7 years old in April '89 and I watched the match with my Dad.
I was overjoyed at seeing the celebrations when Arsenal won the league at Anfield and from that moment I was a true Gooner.
Anyway, my son turns 7 in April '14 and nothing would please me more than to watch an FA Cup Final on the 17th May 2014, with my son and see Arsenal lift a trophy (the first in his lifetime).
Please let this be an omen.

My 1st trophy that I remember was the FA Cup 1979......I was 9 years old.....was only 1 when we listed the Fairs Cup (what is now the Europa) and 2 when we won the double in 1971.
My daughter is also 10 this year and its the FA cup.....only problem is that because I moved to Hull many moons ago and my daughter was born there she was is a Hull fan 1st .......and a Gooner second.......
Hope the omen is not for Hull.......
