Now that the league is won, immediate priority is Monday's replay v Albion Rovers, so first eleven should be nowhere near Ibrox on Saturday
On Saturday we should start with:
Simonsen
Faure Hegarty Cribari Smith
Crawford Peralta Hutton Murdoch
Stoney Walsh (or as close as poss)
Res: Gasparotto, Gallacher, Clark, and some more of the youngsters
We should ignore the trivial/irrelevant "max. number of games unbeaten" nonsense - Scottish 3rd tier !! who cares - and concentate on the bigger picture which is.....1) Monday's replay v Albion Rovers
2) Ramsden Cup Final v Raith Rovers on 06 April
3) Cup semi v United the following week
and let's not get distracted by these trivial side issues
Our priority must be to try keep our recognised top 14 injury-free, yet match-fit at the same time, while giving as much league game time as poss.to the youngsters
Team v Pars on Saturday...

Ally will field much the same team in an effort to preserve the unbeaten run to the end of the season.
Pi$h I know, but thats what will happen

Smid - didn't know about Walsh's injury
Starting with Shiels/Daly worries me after last night's injuries to Little and Temps
Halkett I'd forgotten about

St3vie....suspect you are correct, which is what prompted my post originally. To my mind, getting into a cup semi, winning the Ramsdens, these would be achievements......an unbeaten run against Scotland's 3rd tier part-timers....ffs!

I think the focus will move onto the cups from now, meaning that I don't see McCoist changing too much other than Clark coming in for Shiels.

McCoist can't win here. If he makes wholesale changes and gets put out of the cup some people will want him sacked. If he sticks to a similar team that won last night with maybe Clark up front then some will say he's not giving younger players a chance and will want him sacked FFS.

the league is won, he should be playing players who need game time and keeping his usual 11 for albion rovers
