Most of you know I dont come on Forest boards to wum, for those who dont know me, my wife and her family are Forest fans. Being a Leicester fan there is obviously alot of banter and I take a keen interest in the club, although not as much as some Derby fans
I have to say I am bit perplexed by Fawaz's words in the Nottingham post today. After declaring Billy as his long term Alex Ferguson and gifting the guy a contract until 2017, he now appears to be performing a mild but definite u-turn.

What caught my attention was this quote -
"You never know what will happen this season. We have to give him all the support until the end of the season.
"Then we will say if Billy stays or Billy goes, you know."
This is the first time I have heard anything like that from Fawaz about Billy. Why renew his contract early, give him millions to spend, talk about him being at Forest for years and then come out with a statement like that?
Also interesting that he says Billy has not come up with any loan targets.
My question to the Forest fans is this - is Fawaz genuinely now having second thoughts about Davies or is this a way of putting a bit of pressure on him to get into the loan market and push for that play off place.
