Matt Hardy - Lita - Edge

Was their story real? As in, was there a genuine feud between Hardy and Edge because Lita cheated on him?

This angle was a really enjoyable watch when I was growing up (particularly after the Kane stuff), and I always wondered if it was true. Google is a bit of a mixed response, does anyone know if there was any solid confirmations?

It was, which is why the program worked so much better than it should've done. Without it, all you have Edge vs. a jobber for 3 months.

Yeah, the "acting" seemed really good, which is why I think I was hooked to it.

Does anybody have anymore background info?
