Let's have your Grand National stories, tips etc.....
So who are you putting your 10p ew on, and why?!
I've gone for Long Run - Class Horse primed for this, Henderson must surely win it soon??? The jockey seems to love jumping these fences.....
Also Balthazar King - Won the cross country at Cheltenham. Won the first lap of the National last year before running out of gas, think the jockey thought the distance had been reduced Will hopefully of learnt from that......
Considered another two and will cry if they win
Triolo D'Alene - Henderson/Geraghty combo been in fine form this week, the horse won over these fences last year.....
Chance Du Roy - Simply, my dad's name
I won it last year with Aurora's Encore at a whopping 100/1, a total fluke based on the name......
The Grand National......

If gambling was banned from horse racing, how many people would turn up to watch it? ....
Exactly. NO fúcker would go to watch that cráp. Ban gambling on Football, Rugby, Cycling, Tennis, MotoGP or any REAL sport and the crowds would stay the same. Horse racing ( just like dog racing, or snail racing or betting on which square a cow will shít in )is for gambling, nothing more, which is fine..but dont try and call it a 'sport'! It isnt.

But you have motorcycling as one of your fav sports. Why is that any more of a sport than horse racing? There's more physical activity involved for jockeys than there is for bike riders.

Let me see...MotoGP, where up to 200,000 people turn up to watch stunning drama as PEOPLE pit their wits, skill and bravery against each other - not just hang onto a dumb animal they HIT as hard as they can so that it will run in terror and make money for moronic gambling fools. And, as you clearly have NO clue about the sport, the physical effort involved in MotoGP is beyong the capapbilities of the average footballer, and would destroy a jockey in one lap. Seriously, educate yourself on a subject before embarrasing yourself with laughable guesses. Again, answer the question, with NO gambling, how many people would actualy turn up?

Probably more. The temptation of losing money on gambles will sway people to avoid horse racing tournaments. If they stripped it off the betting attendances would almost certainly rise, because people will be safe knowing they wont give into the temptation of gambling.
MotoGP seems straight forward because they just sit on a bike and go around in circles, you don't really need to train to do that.

No laughable guesses here. You're the ignorant one. Dismissing the effort required to ride a horse at speed and keep control of it, whilst telling us how difficult it is to steer a bike with an engine on it round in circles. The only reason they get so tired is because of all the leather gear they're wearing.......
