Just heard this awful news.
We take it for granted that we have a long life ahead of us.
Nothing is ever guaranteed though and injury/illness can strike at any time which is why I never hold a grudge about a player looking to move in for better money for him and his family unless it was done in the wrong manner (like Kewell).
Best wishes to Tombides family at this time.

20 years young, life is precious and you never know how long you have it for. So all of you treasure every day.
Rest in Peace Dylan

So sad, so young. R.I.P. youngster. Condolences to his family, friends, and his colleagues at West Ham.

My heart goes out to his family. Such a shame to lose someone at such a young age. My nephew also died aged 20, the result of a motorcycle accident. It was many years ago now, but I remember how devastating it was at the time. RIP

Aussie kid who starred at U17 World Cup and then diagnosed with this horrid disease at the same time.
Such a shame. Great guy by all reports

A sad day for West Ham, a lad so young, football put in its rightful place in remembering!..
Dylan, the world off football is remembering!.
