is YaYa Toure chucking a wobbly??

Is YaYa Toure chucking a wobbly, or trying to draw attention to himself.

Pele was black from Brasil, Eusabio was black from Portugal, George Weah was African and won the award in 1995.

There's also been a few black african players that have stood out over the years.

Opinions anyone?

Sir Kenneth Bates

I stand corrected

The spelling may be wrong but the point isn't...!

At least I tried.

Lubo,

Everyone else replies with good intelligent and humorous comments, you come along and look like a fish out of water.

You assume that because he says African footballers don't get the recognition they deserve that means he's playing the race card

I love it when they defend white privilege
------------------------------------------

Really?

You think someone with outstanding qualifications andyears of experience being turned down for a job because of affirmative action is "privileged"?

You think the thousands of American schoolchildren who have to spend a month of every year being forced to hate themselves for a crime that was committed 200 years before any of them were born "privileged"?

Or are you one of those people who live under this pathetic delusion that racism only works one way?

LUBO, you onviously don't read very well.

I never mentioned or assumed Toure was playing the race card.

Also, you obviously didn't get the point of the "looking like a fish out of water" statement.

As I said, you look like a fish out of water.

"Pele was black from Brasil, Eusabio was black from Portugal, George Weah was African and won the award in 1995."

No because that's not saying black at all

I think you should check what your saying means

Pele was black.................?

And Eusebio.............?

Blimey.

And there was me just seeing a couple of truly world class footballers getting an award for being top of their game.

I will argue the fact that Pele was the best player ever!..

And to second that I'll argue that Eusebio come a very close second!..

Mind you, my age might play a factor in my way of thinking, but they played the game at the time fall over merchants were never heard off!..

In them days they were sissy's-cissy's-siccy's -ciccy's, c's, whatever you wanted to call them!..

Oh, and colour never came into it, unless you had something against it!..

LufcGermany

I would put Cruyff in between those two as my top three.

Eric, I said a close second!.

Cruyff was also one off the very best!..

But the best in our time, some will agree to disagree, seeing is believing so they say, and I'm sure some will argue as football has got faster our players will be to slow!..

So, where does it start?.
