In the summer

I know its a tad early as yet another season in the yearly disappointment of supporting Nottingham Forest has not quite finished but with regard to what happens in the summer

Who stays?
Who goes?
How much will we spend?
Who would you like to see us get?

Do you think the club is in a healthier state now than when Fawaz arrived Will?

I do, but then I'm always pretty positive.

Who stays? - Everyone who doesn't go
Who Goes? - Everyone who doesn't stay
How much will we spend? - Not much; £2 or 3 mill
Who would I like to see us get? - Two strikers, a CEO, a Director of Football, a Medical team who can keep our players fit, a good PR team, a good scouting set-up, another 5,000 fans in the ground.

Lastpost. Much healthier. The people who knock Fawaz 'and yes he has made mistakes' tend to forget that we only avoided relegation due to the loanees and McCleary's superb form. At the end of the season ND 's funding had ran out and we were posting huge losses. We had no money to offer contracts to players who were already with us. Without major investment we would have probably had to sell players like Cohen, Blackstock and McGugan just to ballance the books. I honestly think that without Fawaz's backing we could have been another Portsmouth.

Andy, my list just shows the damage done to the club by Davies and Price.

Fawaz is brilliant; he wants what the supporters want.

Fawaz has been [this has to be said] stupid in his dealings with Billy Davis. Not paying either the sheep or Chelsea is deeply troubling and humiliating for the club.

Next season will involve laying a good solid foundation of coaching, scouting and managerial staff. They need time to work together and Fawaz needs time to find his feet and stop getting ripped off in the transfer and loan market. They all need to grow together. That isn't going to be a two week activity in July contary to what some of the youngsters on here reckon.

I'd prefer to think that Fawaz was naive, rather than stupid. Not paying bills is down to Fawaz sacking John Pelling (at Davies' behest) and trusting Price to deal with it; even though he was aware of him being banned from practicing his chosen profession due to 'financial inconsistencies'.

There is more work for the club to do off field to put a proper structure in place than there is on it where we have the basis of a really good team

I think the club is in a getting towards healthier state as Fawaz is slowly learning from his mistakes. Appointing McGovern was, for me, the first step in getting things back up on their feet behind the scenes.
It seems as though there was a lot more going off behind the scenes with Davies and Price than was apparent at the time. There may yet be more fallout on that count to come...

Fawaz brought BD back as that is what the fans wanted & I think at the time he would have done anything to keep him sweet (hence the sackings, media blackout etc..) Unfortunately, it's backfired spectacularly.
However, as a friend said at the weekend
"A new manager coming & a new way of life at NFFC. Poison created by BD is slowly going, time to fill those gaps with goodness"
