This same fixture was played in 2007 but South Africa (second String) came to play the boys from galway and barely escaped with a win... Good Omen!

I hope so.
I'm very excited for the game tomorrow, and also worringly optimistic. It's an unusual feeling coming into an Irish French match. Good to see Darcy playing and Ferris on the bench.

Leeds!
For sure mate! Me too. Tho one thing worried me. tuesday O'Driscoll said in interview.... "Performance is more important then the result" i hate that double talk nonsense. If they perform properly they should win end of story. I prefer the line 'Performance is all important' and leave it at that. setting up to idea of losing is not what i want to hear. Brian... Results are what counts in 3 weeks... so they should bloody well count now at home against a very good team.
Sometimes BOD talks a load of rubbish hahaha But sometimes he comes out with some crackers.... fruit... tomato anyone

I dont know if you're being wise or knowledgable!
Ya, I agree with you there. But If id have to choose it would be a good performance and lose than be awful and win. But if we play well we will win so hopefully we'll see that.
I reckon we'll win by one score. Have you a prediction Ding?

Ye i think both teams will be a little rusty but where last week we had no cutting edge against a better french team this week we have so i reckon we win by 7+ our defence should be very good also with the units back. BOD and D'Arcy, the back row. etc etc.
Our English cousin Lydneyian has us winning by 10!!! while our welsh cousin Gecko has us losing.... mmmmmm
To be fair i thought wales would lose last weekend in cardif so its payback time haha i just hope he's wrong as i was.

Haha Ding, I wouldn't be surprised if you can pull off a victory, but I'd be impressed.
I see the Irish backrow as having to play a blinder cos I think the French will have more momentum and will find it easier getting over the gainline than the Irish. Those French backs have serious pace and power. I know the Irish scrum has improved, but you're facing some of the masters in the French front row. Although that's definitely not to say the backrow cant win a game for you even when your front row is going backwards
