@smadeley_star: Garlick's effectively been sidelined into an admin job. Burton will take charge of coaching and recruitment, working alongside Garlick. #wba
@smadeley_star: Impossible not to view this as tacit admission that they got Garlick's appointment wrong, but club deserve credit for rectifying. #wba

That is good news - Garlick, bless him, was shown to be out of his depth, and I think he'll be the first to admit that, but he's still a decent administrator, and will continue as Albion's legal secretary.
Giving Terry Burton a straight directorship instead of 'Designate' plus a 12-month probationary period is also decisive of Albion, so well done there too.

Maybe I was a bit harsh there, JH - instead of saying Garlick was out of his depth, maybe I should have said he wasn't cut out for the role he was in.

I said a while ago how Garlick was out of his depth. This pretty much confirms my theory.
Hopefully now we can get back to getting value for money with our limited budget like we did in the DA days!
