Meant to say earlier....my only hope with this scenario is that McCoist is possibly waiting to see who he can sign, before then releasing those no longer required. The danger there of course is that the unwanted players dig their heels in and are very reluctant to move on, leaving us with even more wages to find.

Personally, I'd take the risk of releasing quite a few, especially considering there are still plenty of players there who the fans do not want to see again in a Rangers jersey
