It's the appointment of a new 'tea lady' at the back of the Smethwick..... the old one wouldn't sell Bovril.

I remember the old snack bar at the back of the Brummie Road End, where the tea ladies would have cups arranged 10x8 on a tray, and they poured the tea out into the cups row by row out of a big tea pot without stopping till they'd filled the 80th cup. Now that was the way to do it!

Hey Aries... how things have changed. Men's loo's in wooden troughs to pee into and now tiled areas with wash hand basins with hot water and hand dryers. The standards today wouldn't be recognised by my father or grandfather.

Good to see Jezza has recognised the shortcomings of last season.
In January I thought he'd lost the plot but I suppose with the dire situation we were in on and off the field , even he couldn't fail to notice the carp we were watching.
Just hope he makes the right corrective decisions. So far they have in getting rid of the deadwood starting with Ridgebad followed by a string of others. Hopefully, these right decisions will continue with the rebuild.
