What's been missed

Rosberg made his mistake on the left-handed approch to Casino Square, not at Mirabeau, that looks like it is a deliberate choice. Watch the onboard, Rosberg arrives at the left hander, the front bites and he then hits the kerb too hard. The car is thrown to the barrier on the right and he slows to correct and try to get a good entry to the down hill right hander. When it happened I wondered why he was still trying hard going down the hill, he knew he had blown it. The sawing at the wheel may have been as he fought with himself over "shouldI I, shouldn't I ?" The whole thing was cynical, in my opinion. I hope Jack Brabham is watching and the win goes to Ricciardo. That would be justice, Hamilton second, Rosberg crashing... at Mirabeau!

I think it was deliberate.

Exciting start to the race tomorrow.

It was deliberate, him reversing as well was to make sure the yellow flags stayed out.

Interesting development, did not know he had it in him

Interesting commentary here, I think that Anthony Davidson has lost sight of the fact Rosberg KNEW IT WAS LOST AT CASINO SQUARE!

The time downhill he used to make the decision. In a way Rosberg is emulating Schumacher as a German hero(!)

No doubt in my mind it was deliberate. Only mistake he's made in a long time, just so happens to scupper Hamilton's lap and ensure he is on pole? Too much of a coincidence.
