I mean 8816 days and counting since liverpool last won the league. I wasn't even born when that happened. So as bad as last season was its only been just over 365 days since we last won the league and hopefully in like around 330 days time man utd should be crowned champions again and to those people think I am deluded thinking that, everyone starts at 0 points again. Liverpool finished 28 points behind man utd in 2012-13 season but managed to finish 20 points ahead of man utd last season the closest gap between man utd and liverpool in 5 years. Man utd been consistently in the top 2 in the last decade apart from 2 seasons while liverpool haven't.
I can see man utd finishing 1st and liverpool 7th next season. Having said that if man utd win the fa cup and finish 3rd at least it will be a big improvement over this season. Also imagine Phil Mcnulty saying Liverpool champions as his prediction and it being the LAL season next season.
On a serious note man utd getting Luke Shaw will mean we will be more consistent in defence. I think we then need two center backs and one attacking midfielder and we shall win the league next season. Ferdinand vidic giggs leaving means we need replacements.

In my lifetime, Liverpool have won 11 league titles, 6 FA Cups, 8 League Cups, 5 European Cups and 3 UEFA Cups.

This is for deluded Liverpool fans thinking man utd will finish outside top 4 again and liverpool will challenge for the title next season as some sort of fact. Look at that link above and you will see Atletic Bilbao finish 12th with 45 points after losing javi martinez. Next season they finished 4th in a champions league spot with a 25 point better points tally and finished 7 points ahead of 5th.
A similar thing happened for liverpool this season compared to previous season. Everyone starts from 0 points next season unless they have a points deduction. Anyway I won't be suprised if Liverpool are out of top 4 race by new years day like they have been realistically for previous 4 years before this season.
