Coxie, I have to say that I'm in two minds over Tim Sherwood. One half says we need a young, strict up and coming hungry head coach and the other half says we need a more experienced man in the Uncle Woy mold but, they aren't available!

SC was always praising his players even if they were carp. Pepe was the same but praising in Spanish so TS would be (I think) the opposite to that and may cause unrest in the dressing room with Mozza and GMac wanting to clock him one.

C'est la vie - we will see. What is important is that we make the right decision and make it quickly or we will only have the dregs left if we wait until late July, August.

Pretty much agree mate though I think that Advocaat qualifies as the 'experienced man' and I believe he's been interviewed. Either him or McClaren would do me but, at the moment, it looks like Sherwood!

Agreed JH. No matter what my views are on Sherwood, he should be able to bring his own team in. Let's give him a fair crack of the whip and not tie one hand behind his back before he's even started!!!

My ideal choice would be Pepe Mel picking our team next season with all his back room team in place.
