England have no world class players

...and Wales have two. What the fack are we doing wrong?

As for England having world class players, yes they do have some.
Wayne Rooney for one. And that is Alexi Lalas's opinion after today's game. Rooney is asked to do things he should not do. But for the sake of the team, he does them.
He is best as a striker.
If he was playing in a better team, there would be no question of Rooney's class.

Are people genuinely calling Aaron Ramsey world class? Wow
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, the term 'world class' is a subjective term, hence some people will consider him 'world class' and others (like yourself) won't.

He's not far off it from my perspective, but at only 23 I can certainly see him getting there

Jesus wept.....and here in lay the problem with British premier league players!!!

Ramsey has a good 5 months scoring goals.....label....world class!!

It defies belief, it really does.

Cinciwolf (U11551) - And people expected England to qualify from the group. I said it will not be easy. I said England would not beat either Italy or Uruguay. People underestimated Uruguay, and especially after the Costa Rica match.

Not sure either are worldclass tbh

For me only messi & Ronaldo are worldclass

Then you have a host of players in the 'Class' category ie Bale, Suarez, Rooney etc

And then you have the very good players category ie Ramsey, Sturridge etc

Ramsey looks like he very soon will be world class. At his young age he's already making the difference in big games like the FA Cup final.
