vampire appears at football match.
it appears from our reporter today that during the italy vs uraguay football match a vampire had escaped from the depths of the stadium and attacked one of the italian players.
the italian player being quick witted pushed a corner flag pole into the beasts heart and the vampire dropped like a brick thing clutching his heart and his teeth (?).
the uraguayan coaching staff say they are amazed as the vampire in question had been training with them for weeks.
a few of the players had been bitten but everyone put that down to midges.
"now we can't be sure, the midges we didn't think were that big" says the manager.
the ground staff at the stadium have begun to dig up the ground to see if there are any more.
