ferrari"s downward spiral --- why ?

hi guys

Just wondering on people"s opinions as to why ferrari have been in slow free fall from 2008 onwards -- yes i know the F2008 was quick but it was severely allergic to anything that resembled a damp track which probably cost massa the title --
for me it just seems inconceivable that any team that has the resources of ferrari , hence the access to a top drawer design team could have spent the last 6 yrs in the wilderness being at times little more than an above average mid table team with only the genius of probably in alonso the most complete driver to have come along since prost and senna to make them appear a semi competitive outfit -

for me it is a mixture of a number of things mainly the imposed lack of testing that was forced on all the teams from 2009 onwards -- this in my opinion hurt ferrari far more than any other big team as they were unique in having there own private test track next door to there F1 base that they could and did merrily pound round 24 /7 testing every component on the car to perfection or destruction -- whichever came first , hence why they were so competitive and had great reliability for so many years ,

however --------- when the testing ban was enforced in 09 they lost there most potent advantage and was left with a relatively ageing facility with a wind tunnel that at times lacked correlation between the wind tunnel and the track , so much so to stop the rot and in all likely hood to keep alonso i believe they are building a brand new all singing all dancing facility for there 2015 campaign -

you also have the impression that ferrari big boss montezemolo creates an atmosphere of pressure on everybody from team principle to tea boy walla that maybe does not induce the innovative creative designing that would lend itself to providing ferrari with championship winning cars -
----- just wondering if other people have any other ideas to the ferrari conundrum that has slowly seen them toppled from there lofty position that they so enjoyed for so long ?

But you normally start the disrespectful 'banter'. So if you take your own advice, not just with regard to me but with all your so called bruvvers, and treat people with respect, then as you say, we can all get on just fine.
What says everyone else?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
suggest you do your homework --- i have initially always treated everybody on any forum with respect
--- when they start to give me banter they get it back from me --
as i said --- treat me with respect and you will always get it back from me -

So are you now saying banter is not respectful? Certainly seems that is what you are implying.

i have never initiated any of the infantile garbage that goes on here ,
----- people tend to disrespect me because they dont like some of my F1 views , then they get it back from me
----------- it really is that simple -

I'm not old enough to debate on this as I only started watching F1 in 1990 so my opinions on Senna's career are not valid

MA you don't need anybody's permission to start a topic.
