Ibrox 1972 / Closed.

THE Rangers Union of Fans have closed the Ibrox 1972 season ticket fund after failing to gain assurances from the Light Blues board over the futures of Ibrox and Murray Park.

The decision comes days after former finance director Brian Stockbridge received shares in RIFC plc worth around £215,000, despite leaving his role in controversial circumstances earlier this year.

A UoF statement said: "Despite repeated attempts to engage with Graham Wallace and the board over the issue of a binding legal commitment not to sell or lease back Ibrox or Murray Park, we have been unable to come to any agreement.

"It seems the board are happy to continue to alienate the thousands of fans who have supported our efforts through the Ibrox 1972 fund.

"We are left with no option but to release all those who have supported the fund from their binding financial commitment.

"We urge fans not to give their money to this regime in a lump sum payment via season tickets and to support the team on a game-by-game basis."

Now what Dave King?......thoughts!

, if he absolutely had to then he would, its last resort, and if it comes to it, he said he will do it, absolutely, but he's looking at other options and seeing what else he can do before offering money to buy shares from those currently holding them.

Sounds a bit wide to me mate

Actually the only person in a reasonable position to hold the board to account is letham he has a legally binding agreement.

I say board but it's not really them that's the problem it's the shareholders.

With regards Letham, what does he do??

He's a Rangers fan that is now either owed £1m or shares, and he's getting fck all.

Does he take the club to task??
How well will that go down with some fellow bears??

Could he push the button to trigger admin over this unpaid debt??

Should he??

What the fck does he do??
