Further away but back with the manager who he was under during the best part of his career so far.
People will have their opinions, but it's a shame it didn't work out. We need some replacements and quickly now

Just maybe our lack of interest is putting other clubs of
They maybe thinking we don't rate him that much after his loan spell.
Let's hope so.

According to the bn Bolton are not rushing into a bid for the duke( no sxxx sherlock). Off they go to Denmark with only cravies and Beckford as the only senior strikers(has eaves been kicked backwards to the development squad?). Are Bolton serious about signing the duke? Are boro asking for too much? Is gartside player poker and trying to drive the price down? I think this is one that goes down to deadline day. Let's hope Beckford or cravies does not get injured in pre season.

Or we do sign lukejuke and he gets injured in pre-season!

So we finally signed Sordell for circa 500k. The question is will we blow the half a million plus wages or will Dyche transform him into a multi million pound striker ? He must have ability to persuade PG to splash over 3 million on him or was it just a really bad buy. Time will tell. Good luck next season, just make sure you finish ahead of Rovers.

It was a really bad buy by a manager who was struggling to keep his job. I think the expression is clutching at straws.

To make an assumption, if the wages of Sordell and Andrews totalled say £30k a week and the Juke was to sign for half of that, there'd be £750k a year in the kitty extra saved on the wages and anything we might happen to get for Andrews, presuming we manage to shift him. Coupled with the £500k we got for Sordell, we should be around the £1.5m mark that has been quoted for the Juke or Joe Mason so financially, by the figures I've just essentially made up, we can afford to start doing business. Can someone tell big Phil?

Boro are having talks with Danny Graham from Sunderland ,so lets hope things can start moving in the right direction on the Juke front.

Think its going to take more than andrews going for bolton to be able to sign a player for more than £1m. Don't forget we are down to £8m tv money with still a large but unbalanced squad some still on premier league wages. Might take a.sale of bogdan, mavies or lee for it to happen.
