I'll start with Paulinho.
I've made my mind up about him, I was willing to give him time but he is absolutely terrible every time I watch him. He does next to nothing. No technical ability, never picks out a good pass, barely puts a tackle in, painfully slow, can’t dribble – need I go on? The only thing he is good at is getting in goal scoring opportunities and I admit he is box-to-box. The thing for me with Paulinho is, I was willing to give him time and despite poor performance after poor performance, and for some reason I thought there is a good player there somewhere.
With a lot of players you can see they have ability even when they are playing poorly, but I cannot even see any ability in Paulinho. He is not good enough and should be moved on this summer. How he has gotten where he is, is beyond me. I honestly think Jenas was better. Apart from one freak performance against Stoke last season before he got injured, he’s shown us nothing.
David Luiz – where do I start? Dreadful player and I cannot believe he’s been signed for £50 Euros. Certain types of fan look at his whacky hair cut and unorthodox style and automatically assume because he is so different, he’s a good player.
He’s also an absolute dirty t0$$3r, seen plenty of disgusting challenges and elbows from him over the last few years. Another one of those players that is more popular than he should be due to his character, much like Holtby. Chelsea fans love in with Luiz is/was embarrassing.

typical clubs paying huge amounts of money for players on 1 or 2 performances expect some more when this world cup ends, seems like scouts are too inmpatient want there percentage quickly

After the game V Cardiff at Cardiff last year when Paulinho scored a very late winner from a Lamela cross I was harangued by my fellow Spurs Supporters when I was critical of Paulinho and I was chastised because I criticised him going missing & not wanting the ball therefore because he scored a late winner !!!

Paulinho was average and carried by other Brazilian players during the confeds cup last year.
God, I prayed we wouldn't get him then but our scouts obviously saw something most didn't.
we could easily be stuck with the same players as last season as unless we get rid of 1 or 2 players I cant see much coming our way. Paulinho would be a good place to start. No offence there are better players in the championship!!

No one will want to buy Paulinho based on this world cup, we're stuck with him like Adey

Being stuck with Adey isn't a bad thing.

I've been saying Paulinho is weak for a long time now. I never got how some fans prefer him over Dembele or even Bentaleb! It must have been that because he is Brazilian and has a flash name, it automatically made him good. Well, this World Cup will finally open a few eyes!

holtby has had plenty of chances to be fair, and showed virtually nothing.
I would probably play him ahead of paulinho though.
of all the new signings he is the only one that I wouldn't mind if we sold.

I see what you are saying but I have seen glimpses of talent. I think he tries too hard. Need to calm down on the ball and pick a pass which he is very capable of. He should be Eriksen's understudy. More of a Scholes-type No.10 than an all-action dribbling one.
I hope Poch can coach him. he's young and can learn a lot. just needs to understand his role in the team and be composed with the ball at his feet.

Paulinho was by far one of Brazil's better players last night. 2 or 3 shots on goal.
