what do you lot think? will he get a proper time in the team to show what he can do? or perhaps, another loan move to a Premier league side?

I'm surprised if I'm honest. For the wide/attacking midfielder roles we have Sterling, Coutinho, Lallana with Markovic looking increasing likely.

At best he'd be 5th choice as it stands and that's assuming that (a) we don't buy anyone else and (b) Henderson isn't used in the attacking roles.

I can see us bringing someone else in tbh, possibly someone like Shaqiri.

Maybe he'll get the carling cup games to prove himself but I'll be amazed if his appearances hit double figures next year.

Personally I'd loan him out to a EPL team and see how he does.

sterling and lallana get injured, now we down to 2, theres enough room for him, lots of games this season

Yep, you never know with injuries. if and when he gets his chance and he performs he should get an extended run in the team. plus we need numbers, remember what happened when Hendo got suspended last sean (via red card) ?

If we sign nobody else and if Henderson doesn't play attacking midfield, maybe.

Not a criticism of Suso, just the way it is. We'll see maybe he'll get the game time but if he does it means someone else isn't.

Then there's Ibe who will expect a few run outs.

Nice problem to have.

hendo wont leave midfield now imo, but yeah a loan to a pl club would be good if he cant get enough time

Sterling, lallana, Coutinho, Markovic all ahead but if he's game to stay!

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. Gerrard/Can for one spot and Henderson/Allen for the other. Assuming Lucas is going.

Against better teams however I can see 3 of the 4 (5) playing and if so then Hendo is most adept at a more forward thinking role.

True we may well do if we want to be more solid, think there wont be that many of them though just against the better teams like you said

You cannot expect any of the above to play potentially around 60 games in a season.

Having Suso in the squad provides options, as rafa would say

FA Cup games, League Cup games and league games after the CL (possibly from the bench). Then if you factor possible/probable injuries, he will get games next season if he stays. How many will depend on how he and the team performs in the domestic cups and who gets injured.
