Play Giroud as a DM
Now hear me out before reaching for the 1
Giroud has strength, he can head, he's strong in one and one duels and is a beast in the box, all the characteristics of a great DM. If we convert him to a defensive midfielder, that will free up Sanchez to play through the middle, while we look for a specialist DM in a season or twos time.
What do you think, am I onto something?
