Utd....a closer look.

So I created an article on our rivlas the other day and I dismissed utd from the top 4, how dare I....right? Some fans thought this was clearly wrong (thats ok) and with LVG at the healm top 4 looks like a real possibility with even some utd fans mentioning the title no less!

Well, just take a look at their current squad(scroll down on the link to see utd squad)

Once you look at their squad I think people may realise that there is nothing remotely special about them at all, for instance their defence consists of;

Rafael..Jones..Evans..Smalling..Varela..keane..Shaw..James..Blackett

No kidding here, that is their current defensive squad members! In midfield it has such luminaries as fletcher, nani, young, zaha, valencia, carrick, cleverly, fellaini, kagawa....to slow or too old or simply not good enough as many utd fans have been saying.

Attack wise they have rooney, mata, januzaj and rvp.....its quality but I wouldn't swop any for sturridge, sterling or coutinho, I prefer our number 10 easily. So when i say I dont believe m utd will threaten the top 4 Im serious.

To me their squad has been allowed to weaken at an alarming rate, their midfield is so poor considering the fergie halcyon days; LVG will help and they will do better, but I cant see em hitting top 4 with that squad......unless the buy 4+ top top quality players at the least.
