The outcome of Posh's game against the Dale is full of uncertainty, especially with Britt having departed for forests new.
Having been promoted Rochdale will be keen to impress and might be another Rotherham.
In view of said aforementioned departure, I'd be happy with a 1-1 draw; but would be even happier if Vassell (who has impressed pre-season) stepped into the shooting boots left by Britt and secured us a victory.
An interesting first game of the season and precursor to the visits immediately thereafter of the Dons followed by the Blades to London Road.

An away win is the best possible start, congratulations.
My lads won too, much to my surprise.

A good day for us both, Don - 1st and 2nd?
No Udders fans have visited (yet), Davey, despite my posting the following message on their game thread - "Whoops "

Saw your comment on the other thread Thorney and yes it was an enjoyable day, apart from having to visit Rochdale
Thought Posh started off well forced a good save from the Dale keeper and of course the shot that hit the woodwork, but then the first half went really flat. Then at the start of the 2nd Posh couldn't get much going, with Rochdale getting one on one with the keeper only to slice the finish completely which would have gone out for a throw-in, so the goal came out of nowhere a bit. Pretty solid after then, but thought the late looping header was going to drop in, but luckily found the roof of the net.
Comedy moments, when the ref pulled out the red for a Rochdale challenge towards the end only to quickly get the yellow out. Plus the Posh fan who wouldn't throw the ball to the Rochdale players who literally had to go to the guy to receive it off him, and who can blame him, the home team ball boys are normally bad enough.
Scary moment during the goal celebration though when 2 guys jumped into my row and clattered a guy a couple of seats away from me, thought it was going to kick off, he wasn't accepting any apologies!
Did you go Thorney? Good following, and the only supporters making any noise.

Many thanks Sir Ken for your report.
No, I didn't go, as I am restricted by family and finances to home games - the MK Dons next Saturday and Sheffield Utd the following Tuesday.
Do you also attend Leed games?

Tough start to the season for you lot then, playing a newly promoted side today at their place wasn't easy, there's a rivalry with MK, plus Sheff U were promotion favs.
Go to around 10-15 matches per season,as can't justify the price of a season ticket. Think I'll be going to our cup game against Accrington on Tuesday night to get a first viewing of the "new" Leeds.

Good on you, Sir Ken, and I hope that Nicky Ajose plays well for you on Tuesday night and the rest of the season.

Nicky did well for us when he was on loan. He'll score goals.

I see agent Robins has been exposed, shame that hid mission can't be completed. Udders might still drop though.
