Following Sunderland’s 5-1 friendly win at Darlington on Saturday Poyet confirmed Sunderland had agreed a fee with Liverpool for Borini and said he was waiting to speak to the striker.

You should be able to manage that yourself.

So if that's the case why take him on tour away from much needed negotiations and put him at the risk of injury by playing him ?

That's whats being reported as the case not this Borini rejecting it b0ll0x

Sunderland, for their part, insist that reports emanating from Italy over the weekend, which claimed Borini had rejected the move out of hand, are wide of the mark.

Even that article used this, no quotes from Borini or Liverpool on the rejection just that ECHO understands.

Atleast with Sunderland you have quotes from Poyet.

All Poyet says is that a deal had been agreed with Liverpool. No one is denying that, as we had accepted the bid.

How about a quote from Borini's agent. Will that suffice, or will you still argue that too?

Now if this was to be our starting 11 for the Southampton game plus a bench of Marko , Llallana , Rous , Moreno , Ibe , & Sakho I would be very happy indeed
