Clarke & Simpson

have both been told they can leave,Nathan Clarke that is.Can't say I'm surprised to be honest.Don't think we've ever seen the best of Robbie Simpson,so I can't criticise him, although I did witness his only Town goal at Rotherham in the JPT. Thanks for your service.I maybe would have kept him just to see what he could do,but Clark's got his reason and if he has to clear some of the wage bill to make way for new players then so be it.

As for Nathan Clarke this lad has been a great servant to Town making 300 appearances, for that I tip my hat and say thank you very much. His release is probably a good thing for him as he wasn't featuring at first team level and he must have been frustrating, admittedly its probably going to be a big wrench to leave after so long at one club.I for one wish him well and thanks very much.We won't forget the winner you scored against L****s..

Nice article Artie and I concur ~ Its always sad to lose one of your own, particularly one SO HONEST as Nathan Clarke was/is ~ Nevertheless even i have to admit injury problems and MAYBE a missing Killer Instinct perhaps suggests that he he's not the future for town .. I'm sure he'll be a Marvellous Ongoing servant and stalwart for some club and just hope it Can Be one ~ More Local ~ So that I can get to see him play from time to time ..

Good, Good Luck Nathan ~ Tom Next maybe ..

Robbie Simpson was of course just another of L Cs BIG Mistakes and though I wish him well too one has to say he won't really be missed at all ..

Although it's been on the cards, i'm gutted to see Nathan on his way out. He has not been given a chance under Clark and as such it's probably in his best interests to move on where i am sure he will be a success.

Nathan just needs a new start! In happens in football where you can go a little stale at a club! Any club would be getting a good defender, but a terrible passer of the ball. If they want to take his brother too that would be good for our club too! Tom tries, tries and tries some more, but he didn't even sparkle for Bradford in League 2.....enough said! Simpson was never fit and the club has moved forward in the time he has been injured and out on loan! I also saw his only goal at Rotherham, so good luck to them all (including Tom if he goes )

Good riddence to Nathan Clarke, the guy was cr*p, luckily enough Lee CLark could see this.

wish them both well
i would hardly call Simpson a mistake, he showed some promise but spent most of the time injured and by the time he was fit we'd found better.

i would not be surprised to see Nat join up with his old gaffer at bradford. i think he could do a good job for them.

He reportedly cost us around 300k Minty .. He (like Nathan) will also receive an extra 12 months wages ~ (even were he to leave tomorrow) I'd conclude Thats an expensive mistake in anyones book .. Hmm .. ? ~ ~
