Well at least I can rely on Peterborough winning under Ferguson in the league 2 wins out of 2 but a cup defeat. Can't believe Liverpool won after in the 2nd half they should have conceded 4 goals and there only shot in the 2nd half to hit the target goes in. QPR Man Utd, Southampton all deserved to have won but lost.

The the game hasn't been extremely attractive, but it hasn't been totally boring either. There have been a few nice movements on both sides. There wasn't any evident superiority on either side today. The home team played long-ball football unlike the away side which attempted to hold onto the ball for as long as possible.

How did Liverpool deserve to win, it was one way traffic in 2nd half at Liverpools goal. Southampton if they took there easy chances could have at least scored 4 goals.
