If I may speak on behalf of other frustrated Gooners, we don't hate him personally, we don't even know him. He tries hard during matches but doesn't have the quality to do what he is paid to do. Therefore true Gooners are naturally upset and frustrated with him. It's not that we hate Giroud, it's just that we love Arsenal more. For me, Arsenal comes before any sentiment. Therefore I refuse to wear rose tinted glasses when debating the merits of Giroud or even Arsene Wenger (although I defend Wenger to the hilt when discussing him with fans of rival teams).

The reason is because he's the only striker, not his fault. You can't rely on 1 striker for 4 competitions. Khederia and Bony would sort everything out.

I dont think you are right OP. It's outraged hate of him. Did you see half of the amount of articles about Sanogo after the Palace game on this forum? I didnt.
It is as if people waiting on exact this time to take "revenge" on an Arsenal player to say "I told you so". It's a witch hunt and a scapegoat for everything that went against Arsenal now. He is guilty on other players not performing on their own level. He is guilty that we have no pace all over the place and he is also guilty when we were trashed at Chelsea and Liverpool last season. So dont come up and tell me otherwise.
