Neil Lennon 'raging'

Lennon publicly lambasts the Celtic team following St Johnstone game:

He slates the team as immature criticising McCourt & Forrest in particular.
Is this approach likely to get a positive response from the players?
I think Lennon has mucked up here and the players will think he's a bit of a twit. Rangers are now certainties for 4IAR!

Haha are the schools not back yet?

To win the SPL is a marathon, not a sprint. Who said that?

4 games in FFS get a grip

based on one bad result, lennons up for the sack

Lennons up for the sack? Is he?

No - please dont do anything rash. Neil Lennon is the first OF manager ever to keep both sets of fans happy at once.

We want him to stay because we win the league with him in sharge - and you lot seem to love him despite the fact he fails in his primary objective.

Both sets of OF fans had a wonderful celebration at the end of last season. Lets keep Lenny and have more of the same!

You bhoys are obviously rhaging as well
Lennon shouldn't have criticised his players so publicly. Several other managers who have done the same have failed miserably. If I were a celtic fan, I would be calling on the board to concede the title to Rangers as the title is pretty much done and dusted.

bit of a smart @rse answer considering half of you were calling for mccoists head last week, 1 game away from a crisis in the old firm.

Half of us were calling for McCoists head? Really?

I think you know thats not true.

Rangers fans have been right to question McCoists credentials as the results so far have not been what we would have wanted in Europe at least.

But the vast majority of Rangers fans I know, whilst still slightly sceptical, are backing McCoist as long as hes there.

He wouldnt have been my choice but I am more than willing to give him a chance.

But anyway----LENNY MUST STAY!!

Interesting that Lennon defended Samaras last week ('he's good at defending set pieces' ) after an atrocious performance and then singles Paddy McCourt out for criticism ('he had the whole goal to aim at'...eh..naw..he didnae!). Paddy got 30 mins on the pitch which is about 3 times more than the average Lennon gives him and did more in that time than Commons did in 60.
Lenny needs to have a good look at himself...it's not just based on one bad result..the performances this season have been mainly rubbish.

Lenny was perfectly correct to publicly hammer the players, they've been guff since the start of the season!

But now the shockingly bad performance is out of the way, ON WITH THE TREBLE BHOYS!!!

MON THE HOOPS!!!

Lennon is entitled to complain about the performance but seems to have picked the wrong targets.
I thought Paddy did more in half an hour than Commons has done this season, beginning to look like a billy big boots.

We are crying out for a big striker and we need McCourt to open up defences, that's two games on the trot where he just pass the ball across the park until we lose it.

a striker is a must. sammy and murphy have proved there not up to it. need a jelly type target man.
