Leeds Utd v Bolton Wdrs Matchday Thread

Bolton Wanderers the visitors this Saturday, obviously hoping to take advantage of our wee bit of upheaval
So Neil Redfearn takes charge and hopefully he'll get a bit more out of the Team than our Head Coach managed to do, a re-run of the last senior game he took charge of would be nice
Just to remind us

Redfearn does have a good record with the youngsters at Leeds so I'm hoping he can transfer that like he did last time, bearing in mind Bolton thumped us 5-1 last time they visited in saying that, they've had a pretty poor start to the season too, a bit of revenge should be on the cards .......so I'm going for a 3-0 Scoreline Antenucci 2 and Sharpy 1 with NO red cards for us

Excellent result.

3 Points, a clean sheet and no red cards

There are enough bad teams this season, we should be able to stay out of the bottom 3.

Agreed. We won't be relegation fodder. We also won't be promotion candidates. But, who in their right mind thought we would be?

We'll do well this season. With the rider that where we end up will depend on where we are in January. In the mix and I think Massimo Cellino will go off on one and he'll go for it, not in the mix and he'll take a more considered approach for next season.

Who he picks as the next coach may also be a hint as to how we're going to develop as a club over the next year or so.

Higher rather than lower is my prediction, I certainly won't write off our chances still in August..!!

Just don't accuse me of being in the right mind!!

Got to say lads, the Sloth looks a right player.

Commentary team said same H'GATE. MC and Salerno's signings are starting to bed in. To me,
the quality is absolutely there. Definitely laughable
reading some calling them 'second rate Italians'
especially when half of them aren't Italian.

To be honest, the new centre back didn't impress me, Bianchi was better and the new striker showed some quality late on.

Cook
Sloth
Warnock
Silvestri

Were our best players, we rode our luck second half, but great team effort. Closed down better and looked more up for it.

Hopefully we get a very good coach and get this team playing.

H'GATE, that pretty much lines up with commentary team. Redders also said he thought Wootton did well.
Or at least had his best game so far. They added that
Antenucci had some class touches. He's a player.

Wootton did alright at right back to be fair.
