Did Ornstein call Ozil/Chambers deals?

Because I'm pretty sure he didn't

The hysteria on this board when an, albeit reliable, ITK tweets positive/negative information regarding possible goings-on in the Club's transfer activity is disturbing.

Yes, I am too, frustrated with the current malaise regarding lack of news with Monday's deadline looming - and Wenger does need some sort of disciplinary if we're going into January's window with only the current squad and lagging in the League - but some of you posters need to off with your constant moaning and negativity, you're doing nothing except adding to the misery, repeating yourselves over and over with the same depressing stuff.

No, I'm not saying everything's great as it is and we should all be thankful - hell, I don't care if you air the odd negative opinion once in a while... I'm merely talking about the few posters who do NOTHING but CONSTANTLY moan. Seriously - you suck.

Too much panic on here.

Theo/Alexis will be a great combo.

I agree with Wenger. If he is able to get a Higuain, or a Cavani, great go for it. Or why panic?

This attitude sums up why we finish fourth every season.

Really? Why? I am just relaxed because Giroud is injured.

All the rumours are rubbish. Made up speculation. The biggest liars on the planet are journalists.

No, but when Ornstein says something, it's true. Everyone else just písses in the dark a billion times and eventually hits right. Yeah, sure, if Ornstein calls something, it's later than the first source. But that 'first source' will get about 100 other things wrong. With Ornstein you don't get the info first, but you do get it right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, I'm not questioning his validity as a source - if anything, I trust his word against any of the other so-called ITKs as well...

Just saying until the window's closed, there could be another leftfield signing even he's not either be told about, or been told to keep quiet by our own officials. Ozil and Chambers deals are examples of this.

He may have called Ozil on the day, but Wenger said after the Tottenham game 2 days before 'to wait and see if he could surprise a few people' in regards to a deal, speculation was rife it would've been one of three Real players - Ozil, Benzema or Di Maria - after Bale had been snagged from Spurs.

He also broke Chambers AFTER fee/medical had happened...

my point is whilst he may be the official go-to in terms of leaking information from the Club at source, Arsenal didn't tell him about who they're negotiating with until deals are in an advanced stage, to be sure of the transfer not ending up in jeopardy.

So whilst there may be nothing good now... there COULD be something just before or on deadline day.
