Is Alex Song really any good though? I ask out of curiousity, as I rarely watched him play for Arsenal and Barca.

He's better than Fletcher for sure. Good on the ball though for a defensive midfielder he likes to attack a bit too much. Him and RVP had a good partnership in 11/12 season as well.
West ham will improve with him.

Op, my thoughts exactly. Had very good seasons at Arsenal. Would have done a great job playing for us, imo.

Considering he has gone to West Ham on loan he would have been worth bringing in. Is a good CM. Would be hard to figure out unless we bring in someone else before the window shuts.
