Why haven't we signed anyone today?

I was getting used to signing or having a bid accepted for a player everyday.... Ed, the Sunday trading laws do not apply to footballers, pull your finger out!!

I think we might sign one of Vidal, Carvalho or NDJ...

Have a feeling Blind won't be our last.

We have in the region of 40 players who have played for the first team and a maximum of 43 games remaining this season. The exit door would need to be off the hinges on Monday if we're to sign anyone else.

Blind will be our last purchase of this window.

Clevs, Hernandez, Welbeck, Anderson to be on their way with the likes of Pereira and Wilson to get more minutes.

Agree with this.

I also think our interest in Strootman is going to gather pace throughout the course of the year.

Strootman to be our January signing while Fellaini is sold

Plenty of departures coming in next 24 hrs and plenty of loans too I think.

Still have a feeling we'll go for 1 more player and I think we probably need another because our fringe players who are having to play right now are just not good enough.

Probably Woodward will be busier offloading players than buying them....Can't see any marquee players getting in before the deadline now...so it's Blind, Di Mari, Shaw, Herrera and Rojo 'IN', and whatever the sweep catches on the way out. Hope they got a big broom!

Man United is expected to be at da Luz to watch William Carvalho in the Lisbon Derby between Benfica and Sporting. Kick-off 19.00. [O Jogo]

There was more in the papers about NDJ, although I'd take that with a huge pinch of salt, the Sunday papers are worse than the weeday ones for BS.

I still think we need at least 1 CM. I'm happy with Blind, but he's a utility player rather than specialist.
