What is wenger trying to achieve with Ozil

You got too many similar players imo. Wilshere Ramsey Ozil Sanchez Cazorla Rosicky all want to come in the middle and play one twos and then you end up suffocating the play. City did a good job on your fullbacks. Milner especially. You need runners. Theo will help. You need more.

We have runners enough but Ramsey didnt play at a good level. That is the problem at the moment.

We have runners enough but Ramsey didnt play at a good level. That is the problem at the moment.

Relying on one player to have a good game is disastrous in the long run, we need the whole team to play well.

Ramsey was one example only.

I noticed a few times today when Ozil did something that looked fairly innocuous and lazy but it just opened up an opportunity. Getting his touch back imo.

Jealous of him. Only wishes Giroud had Ramsey's looks and footballing ability.

Just a thought, but are we all a bit obsessed by player positions? In our system the attackers switch during play quite a lot. One minute Ozil will be left, them right and then pop up in the middle. Has he really been lacking form because he is played out of position when he has such a free role?

I thought wenger was going to build a team around ozil.
If your going to play him, put him in his best position or don't play him.

should've bought Reus a more direct player who can score goals and isnt looking for the perfect assist. He excelled at Real but look at their squad same as with Germany all are better than our squad. He also must tell Wenger where he wants to play and how that will get the best out of him or maybe he should request a move. The big price tag comes with big expectations from the club and fans at the moment he isnt fulfilling the expectation level. I dont think he was worth the cash outlay tbh, i can see why PSG stopped bidding for him once the price tag went over 30m. People are expecting goals from him, he isnt the type thats gonna score 15 league goals, from memory the best is 9 when at Real. He also hasnt really turned up when playing the top clubs I'll give him until Jan, if he hasnt hit form by then maybe its time to get rid as we cannot have passengers in our team anymore. I like him but i dont think we will get the best out of him ala Veron who was quality then went downhill once he went to United.
