"We are an offensive team".

Yes, Mr Wenger; but championships are won by balanced teams.
All Flamini needed to do was to track Aguero's run and block the only option available to Navas. But an ageing Flamini, whose legs have all but gone could not keep up. Its instructive that our first choice in that position- Arteta , though positionally more aware would have been a further yard behind Kun when that goal went in.
The game as conceived today requires the full back to push forward , but the threat of the counter- attack also dictates that a "mopper" , that has the discipline , positional sense, power and stamina is also deployed to give balance.
It's boggles that mind that a man of Arsene intellect cannot see this deficiency in the side; or is the ambition still to beat the teams we usually beat and scrap for fourth?

The fact flamini still plays for us shows wenger doesn't have what it takes to win the title again, mourinho or pellegrini would have him out the door asap and get in a proper DM

It's really sad. Silva is known for his technically genius but on more that one occasion, he just sped past Flamini.

Alex ferguson wouldn't though and he's won the PL more than anyone. Other than Keane did he ever buy a good CM? Scholes came through the academy

Flamini wouldn't be anywhere city or chelsea squads

Also, we lose at least one player per game to injury.

Alex had a world class defence and a world class attack to make up for that weakness in the centre of midfield. Also he was a much superior manager to Wenger.

Fergie was a better manager than Wenger

Caster Troy, you are such a negative depressing plastic fan. All you do is point out the negatives and compare to other teams claiming they are much superior, have better players and better manager. Why don't you go away and support Chelsea!

If you care about your club, you want them to do the best they possibly can, when they repeatedly make the same mistakes you hope they will change, when they dont this really invokes your passion and makes you critical, why is the response to this "go and support X"
If you dont care enough to question the manager, formation, tactics, positions or purchases,go support a different sport

Wenger is arrogant to a fault which means that he won't be told by anyone what to do. Even when all the fans can see that we are crying out for a DMF with more legs than Flamini and Arteta.

Navas was always going to pass it to Aguero. Everyone could see that. So why wasn't his run tracked.? Because Flamini is too slow. Secondly Nacho was out of position because Wenger insists on playing Ozil on the left where he offers very little going forward and is a disaster tracking back and defending so Nacho has to do two jobs.

No doubt Wenger will not see that it is his failure in the transfer market which has cost us again. We are only one more injury to a defender away from a disaster. We will be down to Bellerin, Hayden or Flamini in defence.

It does seem odd from an outsider looking in that wenger plays 4-1-4-1 when 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 would appear to suit much better? Shoehorning Ozil onto the right just made it look unbalanced and he was just on the periphery without ever looking likely to get involved.
Surely Ozil should be played in the middle of a 3 or not at all, regardless of the fee paid?
Monreal doesn't look half the player Gibbs is,have you no one else who can play there!

Best I've seen Wilshire play for a long time,he was excellent along with Sanchez who really looks the real deal but Arsenal limitations down the flanks and at set pieces don't appear to have been addressed by wenger
