Am I Right In Thinking??

That the lack of comments on the match thread and the quietness on this bored is down to the fact we are all losing our spirit & know we are all preaching to the converted on here now???

With JA606 and the like not being present during the dark ages of the 80s, are we seeing the worst time as a Bolton fan since the start of the internet??

Can anyone see a day back in the premiership soon? Does anyone look at the league table anymore and look at how many points we need for a play off place?!

I'm just absolutely sick to the back teeth of the lack of communication from the club, other than a manager who I wish would just shut up!

Sums it up perfectly for me, M.T.
I'm completely washed out with them, each week is Groundhog Day.
Couldn't care less which division we play in, but the way we approach games is so tedious.
I have no desire whatsoever to even read a match report, let alone attend a game.
This coming from someone who until two years ago held season tickets for forty years.

That is spot on. Petrov's thread covers this perfectly. Apathy rules.

The sad fact is that suddenly half way through we'll probably end up like last season and go on a mad run getting us comfortable mid table fodder.

...and then we'll stupidly get all optimistic over next season.

It shouldn't take a man who's been here a while 4 months to get his point across and it shouldn't take a player 4 months to understand how a formation works.

I think you've summed it up, personally I'd like to have more to comment about rather than rehashing the views we mostly share about the situation and I don't really like having everything I say be on a negative note but that's the way it is now, until things turn around (and if they do) then the only emotions surrounding the club are negativity.

I can't see a way back to the premiership myself, in my opinion it will take a long time before we can get a squad capable of challenging the top 6 places, hopefully if we can keep afloat in this league and get a few decent players out of the youth system.

Walking into the ground, I saw the billboard promoting our new kit with the words "Style, Passion, Performance" and right now I'd just settle for one of them.

Dougie has taken us so far down that i dont think many managers would want to put up with the 10k budget for new players.
coyle and burton albion manager have rejected blackpool because its a guranteed relegation.
Currently we are going to be second bottom the way things are and so little chance of attracting a decent manager. The best we could do is a lower league manager that might give it a go.

I cant see us going on a run as last year we got lucky with mason and juke. We cant keep on getting lucky with strikers. This year we may well not get a striker that can keep us up.

Premiership?
Not for some years yet.
We are stabilising the finances.
Until we start competing with transfer money we will not get anywhere near playoffs.
