In Your Cup Final...

...1-1

Your crowd: quiet.

Your pitch invaders: tubby.

Your 'new' management: as bad as the old management.

That is all

The fans of Fawaz United
were getting a little excited
They cried revenge on the team down t'road
Psycho waved and they all bust their load.
Assombolanga lashed at a ball he was about to lose
Antonio was crying about his little bruise
Fawaz United thought revenge would be done
Til Shotton stepped up and the moment was gone

The fans stood quiet the fans stood still
The mist rolled in from the Trent
and she whispered five nil, five nil, five nil

I'm surprised that two posters who have experience of their details being shown on this site think that this is appropriate.

My thoughts on the match...

I thought the game was a pretty dismal affair, but then again most Forest/Derby games are due to the rivalry, tensions etc. Neither team really did enough to deserve the win.

Neither team really got into a good flow, especially Forest as Derby did well in breaking up the game and containing well. I thought we did well in keeping Russell and Martin pretty quite.

Henri was pretty lucky to stay on with the same being the case for Eustace.

Fair result.

Really, there was only one moment of real class in the whole game, and that was at the 10 minute mark, when the whole stadium rose and applauded the late, great, Sir Brian Clough. That incredible moment brought a tear to my eye...

RIP Big 'Ed
