When you see the Wenger press conferences why is no journo calling him out on his lack of additions in the defensive areas? I would love one of them to ask him outright "why did you not bring in a replacement for TV when you said that if he left he WILL be replaced"? And he said this after CC has already come in.

I wondered about that too

Its not the journos job to be question how Wenger runs the club. That is Gazidis's job. Is Chambers out? No one else seems to be reporting it.

Wenger said on Chambers, "he has a small problem but COULD be okay". He didn't elaborate on what the problem was but everyone reporting it as tonsillitis. So I would guess it's wait and see how he is in the morning.

Even if it was 50/50 I would wait before panicking. A sore throat is not something to get your knickers in a knot. Even If he is out I would trust Bellerin. He is not outrageously young. Even Jenko did well against Bayern. Sometimes its easier to make your debut when you are not expected to win.

Tonsillitis is not just a sore throat! It comes with a high fever, lethargy and generally feeling unwell, and playing a match is not something he would want to be doing if this is the case. If it's a mild form then maybe. If there's the remotest doubt aver Chambers then Bellerin would be the smarter choice.

Flamini could also play RB if Arteta comes in

If he has tonsillitis there's no way he is playing. And will probably be out for weekend as well. Having tonsillitis is like the flue with a sore throat. I doubt he'll train all week if he's got tonsillitis. However they say he's 50/50 so it could just develop into nothing, sometimes you can have sore throat that pretty much goes in 24 hours. But if it develops into tonsillitis theres no way of his involvement

so I expect bellerin will play, and possibly again against villa.

I expect a win. Have to top the group this year.... We should consider ourselves superior to Dortmund at this moment and time in my opinion
