Really enjoyed last nights game. Watching the likes of Cleverly and Wellbeck contribute to our team gives me so much more pride than having a team and bench filled with 35 million pound megastars.
Sure Rooney cost 30million, but that's becauuse he's one of the worlds best players. The completeness of his game is Pure class, and he's got a new lease of life this season. Probably because he didn't have to waste his summer playing for England, who he's too good for.
Wellbeck in particular looks like he'll be an important player for us, it means we don't have to rely on the unreliable Berbatov. I think Fergie should sell him now while he can still get some cash for him, as he's only got a year left on his contract.
With Smalling, Cleverly and Jones, plus the Fabio twins, we've already got the back-line that will take us through the next decade. And maybe Cleverly will be the creative midfielder we've missed since Scholes' best playing days. Although i'd still he happy if we got Wesley (Sneijder, not Brown) it doesn't seem so urgent anymore
De Gea still needs a lot of work, he doesn't yet have the anticipation and concentration required for this level. As always, we must be patience, and continue supportingt him like last night. The average age of last nights team was 23 (obviously not including Giggs) yet most of them are already top quality.
With hindsight, you can see developing this team was Fergie's plan all along, and last season was a transitional season. Winning the title was a huge bonus, it all goes to show Fergie's still got it after 70 years, if anything he's improved with age.
Disappointed with Spurs, you knew they were going to lose throughout the game even before we scored. George Graham was their manager last time they beat us, that's a very poor record for a so-called 'big club.' They badly need a top striker as they did last season, i don't know why Redknapp hasn't addressed that problem.
The combined number of players produced by the Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham academies this century remains at zero. One of the many reasons why our club is greater.

Not exactly. That's just my view that United are the team are the future.
if you don't like it you don't have to post. Or you could post comments saying i'm wrong, and offering a different view.
Insults from a 606 poster really don't bother me. When you receive as many as i do you have to grow thick-skinned

Who's insulting you?!
All i have said that your article is purely for the UTD fans to comment on, i have no issues with that, my issue is that its on the Spurs board as well and you are clearly waiting for a bite

So I'm presuming you comment on every article on the spurs board? Or do you pick and choose which ones you want to comment on?
Seems to me if you found this so offensive you could have ignored it but you'd rather just slate it!

I will ask again, where have i slated the article?! Im slating the fact its been put on the Spurs board, where we both know it will just cause arguments
Keep it on your own teams board and discuss things until your heart is content

the only person staring an argument on somebody elses board is you RRP.
