A bizarre situation. The 'Derby' match most of us (not all) look forward to and Blogger Champers bails out, met with ridicule & criticism.
But wait,

Despite the fact that I think he should have done it, even a simple heading accompanied by basic line or two, He is a reflection of how (I'd say ) low the moral of the HTFC fan base is at this time. His attitude speaks VOLUMES above the mere fact of bailing out on a match thread.

Lets also remember, All of you Leeds fans were in a right old squabble prior to Redfearn taking over from Hockaday...& now the renewed enthusiasm as the 'insider' takes over on the 'temp' basis, And lo & behold ...things start to pick up ! Now.....
Where did that same scenario just play itself out

The previous mid week games would indicate that this game is a nailed on home win .
with this comment from Redfearn after the impressive 3-1 away win at Bournemouth,
"I am enjoying being in charge and the club is in a far better position than when I took over. The lads are playing with confidence."
prior to that his opinion was :-
"Bournemouth showed for 30 minutes they are the best footballing team in the league, they murdered us in that period but we took confidence from only going in 1-0 down."
They fought back ! And literally went on to win.

A very Similar mindset & attitude to TOWN under LILLIS.
& here in lies the conundrum among TOWN fans at the moment...
We seem to have taken a step back under Powell, with eye witness accounts of narrow, drab, even boring football being played compared to the renewed vigor on display under the watchfull eye - albeit temporary - under over very own, In House & oft forgotten 'Solution'

But, as TOWN fans, Lets take the Positive from Tuesday night, after the disappointing defeat v Boro and that hidious, nay CRUEL, last minute penalty

I didn't expect anything from this game, and openly stated I'd take a draw if it were offered before the kick off. And the 'positive'..

With Hudson now in the back line, It would seem that area has been tidied up no end....& hell...did we need a new centre half.
But Hell fire we will (Town) have to be tight against a side who have just put 3 past the side that smashed TOWN 4-0 on the opening game of the season

We've both played 7 games. But Leeds United have double the points tally going into this game, 10 & 5 respectively. Obviously from a TOWN point of view, we could do with a win, Likewise Leeds United will also want the full 3 points and to keep this new found momentum going.....
yet both managers will give it the old fannee about "It's just another game" , or maybe "we have to remain focused, and not let the emotional aspect affect the game plan" or some other such garbage !

(1-1) onto the Impressive 3-1 tanking of Bournemouth on Tuesday night.... Oh, & 4 games back The disastrous & embarrassing defeat at the hands of local antagonists Bradford city in the 'none sensible' cup. It's on going week in week out, Something Hudders fans need to adopt as we are very inadequate in this regard..dare I say it...Week in week out.
although this does not apply to the hardy souls who travel away on a regular basis.

So. Over 30 thousand tickets sold so far. and that with a pityfull allocation for the visiting fans, maybe common sense would dictate that TOWN had been allocated at the very least a similar number as is afforded when LUFC visit the JSS ? And just to finish !
