Gnabry's Injury

Anyone else quite concerned about the length of time he has been out injured, especially considering it is a knee injury?

Tbh his absence is not noticed- Podolski and Campbell barely get a look in in these wide positions, and someone like Chuba Akpom has really not got a look in either. Despite injury to Sanogo and Giroud, we have a lot of options in those forward positions, which is quite bizarre considering what we were discussing after the Everton game. The Welbeck transfer is really a game changer in this respect.

However, we must remember that Serge is probably our most promising prospect from the academy since Wilsh came through. Akpom is also promising, yet Serge plays in a position which can often be trusted to younger players relative to the lone striker role. I hope when Serge returns, which according to Physio Room is the end of next month, he can make an impact before potentially getting a loan in January.

However, this is Arsenal, and there is no guarantee a young player will not be hampered by injury. Which is frustrating when you often see prospects at other clubs fail because of attitude rather than something out of their hands.
