So How do we beat Chelsea at the Emirates?

Let me start with the ref and say although he could have done better by making a huge call against Cahill, he probably applied the same logic and gave Kos and Danny the benefit of doubt! Sadly we would have benefited more if Cahill was sent off early doors but it still does not excuse us folding over! We need to accept that in away games to the top teams we won't get any decisions!

The same logic will apply at the emirates when Chelsea come for a point as Oscar won't get away with the deliberate fouls.but the question is how do we break down the bank of 6 that sits in front of the keeper every time Chelsea plays a big game?

City battled, we battled and unless you get a break on a set piece it's really hard to find spaces! Our patient approach works against the smaller teams but will never work against the likes of Chelsea! At times I wish we would just batter them with shots. On another day Cesc's handball is a penalty and we would have been in front.

But we can't get those breaks if we don't shoot! Some have suggested going wide but 9/10 times Chelsea will clear any cross with that bank of 6 in the box.

We simply need to start thinking outside the box! Mix it up! We aren't going to score from a set piece, we aren't going to break them down by the patient approach! Let's force the issue.

I thought Santi was great, as was Jack although he could have done better with the chance he had! Flamini had a decent game but the Chelsea midfield was so deep he had little to worry about.

I actually think offensively City are a few levels better than Chelsea, have more goal scoring options and classier players like Toure and Aguero! Chelsea are functional but their organization is at an unreal level.

We will get better as the season progresses, I loved the energy Sanchez showed, totally restricted Ivanovic and Danny defended from the front ever so well.

We need to find a way to win, even a scrappy 1-0 will do.
