The latest is for the 2022 WC to take place in November that year. Clubs understandably not happy.
Its time for UEFA to grow some onions and tell FIFA they are withdrawing from the competition, and arrange an extra Euro Championship Competition for 2022.
Qatar 2022

I thought it was supposedly suggested to be Nov/Dec, but it's been a week or so since I read that.
Might not suit England, but I think it would be more reasonable to stage it mid-Dec/mid-Jan, as round about those dates is when many leagues take a rest anyway.
I don't see a winter World Cup as necessarily being such a bad thing - I think it's an interesting enough proposal to at least try it out, and summer weather in Qatar provides the perfect excuse.
Think about it. When World Cup time comes around, you generally find that a good few of the top players have about 60 games in their legs. A lot of them are totally knackered and that often deprives of seeing the best perform at their best on what is the world's premier football stage.
I think that's a real shame and that staging the tournament mid-season when you might expect them to be in tip-top form might actually turn out to be quite a treat.
