You know what Donaldo, after looking properly at the draw i reckon the BBC will have our game on and probably Prestons away game at Canvey Island or Havant.
That will give us a chance to watch it live.
Mooligan, Weston Super Mare will be delighted with the draw, a home game against a team that was in the Championship for most of the last five or six years will be a dream tie for them.
Much the same as it would be for us to draw say, Liverpool or Man Utd at home.
It should give them a big payday if it is televised.
Their last home game had an attendance of just 215 people.

Often pass the ground as I visit my father in law in Weston Hospital. Good draw for Donny. I'll be there.

They are second bottom of Conference South so stand by for-you-know-who to tell us "We know it's going to be tough". I think he could be right actually. Newyankee may remember years ago the Dons played a team on a public park pitch in Wakefield in Round one of the RL Challenge Cup. I went and they won, but it was hard.

Donaldo, you are right. I like Dickov for his optimism, but his "We know it's going to be tough" drives me nuts. It is as though he thinks we are already bottom of League One. To me, this is a bad draw as we will be expected to win, but who knows?
I had to go online to find what level they were. I see Farnborough are in the same league and seem to remember the Ensleigh Trophy (or what ever it was called) against them. Even here in the USA I have video tape of that final!
I'll try and be positive and think it is an automatic passage into Round Two.

If ever there was a "must win" for the manager... He got away with Stevenage last year ...somehow... but it cannot happen again.

Can't remember that game Donaldo, but the Dons have played a lot of Amateur clubs in the Cup as have many other teams.
You usually find that if they lose to the Amateurs the coach is gone the following day. I don't want us to lose, but it would answer a lot of questions.

I just listened to Dickov's comments about Weston Super Mare, and sure enough it is "going to be a tough game." PD, please get a language coach to widen your vocabulary and choice of phrase, as you are now so predictable.
