Cellino starting to harm the club

The club starting to get a reputation has a nut house.

Apart from a managers who are out of work and have no ambition, are seriously going to come. It's too risky because we could wreck a career.

Are good players going to come ??? When they don't know one week to the next who's going to coach them

And good young talent are going to start to think twice about coming.

It's just a total mess, no plan and just constant BS from Cellino

When will this nightmare end ??

A lot will depend on how Redfearn fares in the next few games, and that will depend on whether or not he can pick his own team and formation. Can he fix the team with the players we have by adjusting the formation and changing things during the game? Were we just lucky when he was in charge before or did he show real tactical ability?
Will he be any better than hock and darko?

What will depend on the next few games exactly, Redfearn is saying this is a long term thing.

what if's, what if's, what if's,

every appointment to a football club, big or small can be a what if,

What if Cellino hadn't bought the club, where would we be?

What if Cellino/Salerno hadn't brought the players we have in, where would we be?

What if we had gone into admin, where would we be?

What if Flowers and Co had bought the club, where would we be?

What if BM was still in charge, where would we be?

There's lots of "what if" questions out there, and some are automatically answered since Cellino moved in.

How about using some positives "I like what" or "He's done" or "so far" or "we have" or using "moved forward" in some statements or "feels good" or "I'm happy", just some little positive words that describe the good things about our club.

For instance,

"I like what he's done so far, we have moved forward, feels good, I'm happy".

Jonty, the first team takes priority, that's why they call it the first team, and not the 2nd or 3rd team.

Jonty i said a lot will depend on how the next few games go. We will find out if Redfearn is really any better than hock and darko.
If he is then everyone will be happy, including you. If he's not then he may well have closed the door on a return to the youth set up.
Therefore a lot depends on the next few games.

Perth, ah gotcha, I thought you meant in terms of Cellino retaining him.

I would say 6 games is more accurate.

I really don't see how he could return to the academy, unless there aren't plans to appoint a replacement.

Also, after being Head coach would you really want to go back, I don't think so.

Having sacked u18 and u16 coahces and now losing head of academy and wanting to close TA, one wonders what the future really is for our youth set up.

jonty, I read somewhere that Redfearn or maybe Cellino believes that there are already people within the organisation that can step into Redfearn's position without employing someone else.
If it doesn't work out for Redfearn I'd expect him to eventually look for a manager's job somewhere else rather than go back to the youth.

Perth, academy is threadbare already I'm afraid.

I agree, I think he'd go elsewhere. It's not a question of if its a questions of when.

When he eventually gets sacked, no way will he go back to the academy, depending on what he does or achieves he will most likely go somewhere else as 1st team manager.

What Massimo is trying to do is get a manager/coach that can hit the ground running and keep up the pace, its not easy but it happens, di matteo at chelsea, mcclaren at Derby, koeman at Southampton etc and their the most recent ones. I hope redders is our mo farah of form
